NEW MENU

While living in Ecuador, South America, I landed a job making a new menu for a place called "Por Que No?".

Burning Man Desert Design

I created this design for the desert festival Burning Man.

Visions Of Ayawaska

While living with a Shaman in Peru, South America, I made a mural of my visions for his temple. The final photo was destroyed, but this photo shows the direction. A dream serpent wraps around the seed of life, representing harmony and balance. The serpent has the musical markings of the indiginous Shapebo. Later on I painted the flow of the cylce of life, death and rebirth.

Elemental Altars Of Direction

I was asked to construct Elemental Altars for an Ayawaska temple near Machu Peachu, Peru in South America. These four altars were placed at each end of the temple, signifying the 4 directions, and the elements that they represent. Each altar uses many found local and natural objects as well as a few new as well.

This altar is dedicated to the West, the Earth.

This Altar is located to the North, the Wind.

Placed at the Southern End of the Temple, this living altar is Water. In the center is a fountain that pours water to clear the energy of the temple.

Fire is located in the East. In Hebrew it is written, East, Illumination, Spirit and fire.

Mural for the Childrens School of Pisco Peru

In 2009 a devistating earthquake rocked Pisco Peru, leaving the city in ruins, even till present day. Not only was the city destroyed, but the spirit of the community. All the historical buildings, their pride and culture lost. Almost all the truism died and many are left with out hope. In the mural I designed for the children’s school, I made a symbol of the Phoenix. If you don’t know already, the Phoenix bird represents hope and a fierce energy representing rebirth from the ashes of destruction. Also too I placed inspirational words and colors flowing out of a spray can, held by a Peruvian boy. I wanted to show that the children of the community are the future, and from their hands, they can change the landscape into a harmonious reality.

Childrens School Mural in Pisco Peru

This was my first attempt at airbrushing photo-realistic clouds on a 30'x 30' ceiling.
It took me nearly 60 hours of excited frustration to understand how to think like a cloud in order to paint a cloud. The "Mingle-Puffs" teach me that when we encounter fear or confusion, it is easier to switch our perspective, rather than push our will on stagnant resistance.

After I was finished I asked my Soul Brother Benjamin Swatez to soar in the sky with me as we painted the spirit of eagle and hawk. Together, we bridge realities.

Walking Through Integrity

This commissioned artwork is for Synchronicity of Bodega bay California. Their vision was three monks walking though a Pacific North West coastline towards a dragon kite. I channeled their vision through a diverse contrast in order to bring more focus to the monks.

Entertainment Though Time

This painting depicts the movement of entertainment though time. The clock and the gears are to represent time itself. The entertainment theme moves from musical, to theatrical performance, From the Bell & Howell 363 8MM Silent Projector,to VHS and then progresses into the digital age with DVD's. I chose a sepia wash technique to achieve that "Old Time" look.

Redlight Redbull

While in the Red Light district of Amsterdam, I made friends with the organizers of the Redbull community art space. I was blessed with the opportunity to create an enlightening graffiti piece to greet strangers at the top of a dark stairwell.

Funk & Flash

Funk & Flash is a clothing store in Sebastopol CA. The owner asked me to paint his windows with a classic late 60’s theme. I felt inspired by Peter Max and pulled many references from this time period to get this classic look.
